Welcome to “Wasen”  (Free Boat Ride)
Japanese Traditional Wooden Boat Association

Our association was founded with the assistance of Koto city in 1995. The purpose of our association is to preserve the "Wasen" Japanese traditional wooden boats as cultural heritage , and to inherit the rowing techniques. We are located at Yokojukkengawa Shinsui Park.

- If Koto Ward's heatstroke information is "dangerous," all activities will be canceled.
- If it is "high alert," you can still experience rowing if you take sufficient precautions such as staying hydrated.
- The heatstroke information may change to "dangerous" in the afternoon. Please check the latest information on our website or Facebook before visiting.

Except during the Sakura Festival period, advance reservations are required when boarding in groups of 10 or more at regular activity locations. Reservations are not required when boarding with a small group of less than 10 people.
